Splatty, Splat Splat
They say that bees are dying or missing out of hives all over the US and nobody knows why. Well, I think that some of them are ending up on my helmet, gloves and the front of my bike.
Yes, it is that time of the year, the flowers have bloomed and now the bugs are out in full force. Even a simple ride at night yields a bazillion bugs all over me and my bike.
Just another reason to keep my steeds clean and happy. And yes, time to clean the gear as well.

That's nuthin. In TX and VA you can pick up that many bugs (and 2-3 times bigger) just by taking a scoot to the 7-11 for some malt liquor and Twinkies.
A buddy and I were riding through Yarnell,AZ. We just passed two choppers and shot through a huge swarm of bees at about 100mph. I hit about 10 on my helmet and a maybe 20 more on my SVS (it felt like I got hit by a fully auto paint ball gun), but those guys on choppers had no face protection. ~JPL~
